Just bring your own instrument. Play in a regular group, learn to improvise over chord changes and finish the season on stage. Private saxophone lessons for adults too — in English or Dutch.
Learn to play together
The 2nd Floor Jazz School runs small, regular groups working on jazz standards, blues, latin and original tunes: ensemble playing, rhythm and improvising over chord changes. Every season ends with a concert.
For adult musicians on any instrument who have some jazz experience. You don’t need to be an experienced improviser — that’s what the group is for — but a basic grounding in jazz is needed to take part. Not sure? Get in touch and we’ll talk about your level.
From your first note to your own sound
Private lessons for adults on alto, tenor and soprano sax with Eldert. Beginners learn the basics — holding the horn, breathing, tone, reading music. Experienced players work on tone, timing, repertoire, theory and improvisation.
